Winter
(December - February)
Winter provides a natural resting period for lawns and ornamentals. Growth slows significantly, and freezes or frosts help suppress many lawn issues. During this season, Mantis does not fertilize lawns or ornamentals, allowing plants to conserve energy and prepare for spring. Instead, the focus shifts to weed control when temperatures allow and routine inspection of ornamental shrubs. Pest activity outdoors may decrease, but insects often seek warmth and moisture indoors, making exterior and interior pest control valuable for preventing overwintering infestations.
